Dunollie Castle at Oban
Oil Painting on canvas of the ruins of Dunollie Castle sit on a cliff near the town of Oban in Scotland. The current castle was built as a stronghold for the ancient and powerful Clan MacDougall in the 12th and 15th centuries. To this day the castle remains in the hands of the same family, as the Clan seat and ancestral home the MacDougalls.
